Whether you are trying to relax for the weekend or hosting a party for the ages, Taking care of your Poly Lumber Furniture is as simple as 1…2…3!
This Poly materials notorious durability makes it easy to maintain for many years to come.
Mix a mild soap with warm water.
Take a clean cloth (or even a Magic Eraser!) and get scrubbing to rid your poly furniture of any dirt that may have built up over time. You can use a soft-bristled brush in the crevices to aid the cleaning process.
Rise well and lounge away.
For the hardware we use a high quality stainless steel that can withstand the elements, but depending on the location of your Poly furniture and the amount of salt exposure we would suggest during the cleaning process give an extra scrub at the screws and bolts to help with long term care.
For more stubborn dirt, you can use a pressure washer, but never exceed 1,500 psi because it can ruin the lumber. We recommend pressure washing once a year just to maintain the texture of the material.

As a matter of fact it does! During one rain storm after we got our first glider, the wind forced our glider to slide right off our Poly dock and fall right into the intercostal. We had gotten home maybe 10 minutes after it happened and had to fish the chair out of the water. It was simply floating its way towards snake island and we where lucky to have found it so quickly, but once we got it out a simple rinse made it as good as new. We also added some blots in our furniture to attach it to our dock permanently.
